Containing three of the world’s seven highest mountains: Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and Mount Everest, the Solu Khumbu region has become one of the most well trodden routes in Nepal. Winding up through the mountain countryside the vertical limits of your imagination will be tested as you feel your senses expanding vertically from valley to blue sky. High mountain pastures dotted with turquoise lakes combine with deep gorges and glacier ice flows. The Sherpas are renowned the world over for their good humour, strength, endurance, and mountaineering skills. Climb through the Everest region with your hospitable and rambunctious Sherpa guides and porters, stopping at night to drink tungba, homemade millet beer, and enjoy the traditional dance and song of these proud people.
